Alumni Meet- 14th Dec

December is turning out to be a very eventful month at KCG College of Technology. It actually began end Nov when we had the Virtusa Hackathon event that saw quite a few students participate, going all the way to become winners.We opened December with the Dec 7th Community Outreach day when students visited the villages we had been working with to officially launch various services and impart knowledge that would help change their lives.

A week later we had the Alumni Connect event, where quite a few of our students came back for a reunion. It was such a pleasure meeting them, learning more about their lives and feeling proud at their accomplishments. We thank them all for making the day such a success.

The theme for the event was Reminisce, Reconnect and Revel...

Alumni meet is  basically a gathering of people who passed out of the institution and come back to reconnect with their batchmates and friends. The day was filed with various activities and interactive sessions, giving them the opportunity to renew bonds and make new friends as well. It was also a good event to meet the faculty and staff, who were part of their lives during their college days.

Alumni meets are meant to rekindle friendships, lost connections and to discover what their friends/batchmates/college mates have been to since the last time they met. The students’ lives go through a transformation the minute we step out of the college, and graduate. Some of the students go on to start businesses, while others pursue higher studies and some take up jobs, growing up the ladder one step at a time. Some might also get into the media space, no matter where they are today, the heights they reach gives a sense of pride to the College and people in the institution.

The event had Mr Natwar Kadel, Sr Manager HR,  Hyundai on the panel of Chief Guests, apart from Dr. Elizabeth Varghese, Chairperson, Hindustan Group of Institutions.
