Automotive Electrical Test Bench (AETB)
STRENGTH OF MATERIALS AND FLUID MECHANICS AND MACHINERY LABORATORY The strength of a material depends on its ability to sustain a load without undue deformation or failure. As a result, several types of tests have been developed to evaluate a material’s strength under varying loads that are static and dynamic. In fluid mechanics laboratory students would acquire knowledge in fluid properties and characteristics of flow. Compute loses in circular cross sections using conservation laws. Analyze the performance of pumps, turbines and hydraulic machines. |
COMPUTER AIDED MACHINE DRAWING Students will gain knowledge, the basic drafting techniques from paper to machine using AutoCAD designing software. It would be a great exposure to enable students to know about automobile components. To provide hands on experience to develop 2D models (engineering drawings, part drawings) of machine components. |
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/LISTENING & SPEAKING Students would be given training on soft skill development, communication skills and career guidance. Recognize and manage the complex processes of communication in order to achieve performance excellence through interpersonal skill team building. Identify and apply new skills and strategies to enhance individual and team performance. |
AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS LABORATORY Students will learn to dismantle and assemble the automobile components. Understand different types of frames, chassis, transmission and other mounting parts used in various automobiles. Understand the spark ignition & compression ignition engines fuel system (2 Stoke & 4 Stoke). |
ELECTRONICS AND MICROPROCESSORS LABORATORY: Fundamental knowledge on electronic components like bread board, transistor, resistor, inductor and its applications.
