An avowed objective of this institution is to contribute to the knowledge base through scientific enquiry, applied research and innovation so as to play a significant role in the socio-economic progress of our country. As a matter of fact, research is an important and high priority activity for any technical education institution. Not only research improves quality of teaching, but also enhances the confidence of the teacher. A significant number of papers based on the research work and project works have been published by the faculty members and the students in International Journals and in National Journals. Apart from these, they also present papers in International Conferences and in National Conferences. The SCOPUS h-INDEX is 12.
