“The value of a college education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think” – Albert Einstein
Training, in general, is defined as “The systematic development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by an individual to perform adequately a given task or job”. To reach the goal of our great Visionary’s words –“To Make Every Man A Success, And No Man A Failure”, the Training Cell of KCG College of Technology was started in the year 2010. In order to place each student on a successful career path, our students are being trained by the Training Cell from the onset of the first year of their journey with KCG family until the final year.

BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATE (BEC) :
Cambridge English Business Certificates also known as BEC, were introduced in 1993 and feature three levels of qualifications – Preliminary, Vantage and Higher. They provide a progressive way to develop English ability for international business and the workplace.
BEC is conducted in over 130 countries, and certified by the University of Cambridge, ESOL. The exams are based on realistic tasks and situations giving learners real-life language skills. They accurately and consistently test all four language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking.
A BEC qualification makes it easy for the employers to assess the exact level of a candidate’s English skills.
VERSANT ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST (VEPT) :
The Versant™ English Placement Test has been specially designed for English language learners to automatically evaluate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Using speech processing technology and the advanced science of linguistics, the Versant™ English Placement Test (VEPT) has been used by the recruiters throughout the world to evaluate the English communication skills of candidates.
The Versant English Placement Test consists of 81 questions grouped into nine task types. Test questions reflect many different situations in the classroom and real world including reading aloud, conversations, dictations, summarizations, and email correspondence.
