    • Backward class Community (BC) and BC (Muslims) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 45% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

    • Most Backward class Community (MBC) & DNC of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together .

    • SCA/SC/ST community of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

B. HSC (Vocational) :

  • For candidates belonging to

    • Other Communities (OC) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 50% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together

    • Backward class Community (BC) and BC (Muslims) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 45% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together.

    • Most Backward class Community (MBC) & DNC of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 40% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together.

ADMISSION TO DIRECT SECOND YEAR (B.E./ B.TECH) PROGRAMS- LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME.

    1. Diploma Candidates :

      • A pass with minimum eligibility marks in one of the Diploma Courses in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / Equivalent prescribed for the respective Degree Courses.
    2. B.Sc Candidates :

      • A pass with minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science with minimum 3-years duration with (10+2+3) pattern of study with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Degree level.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY MARKS

The candidates should have obtained the following marks in the qualifying examination, Diploma/ B.Sc for eligible to admission.

        • For candidates belonging to

          • Other Communities (OC): – A minimum average of 55% of marks from Ist semester to VI th semester

          • BC & BC (Muslims) Communities: – A minimum average of 50% of marks from Ist semester to VI th semester.

          • MBC & DNC Communities: – A minimum average of 45% of marks from Ist semester to VI th semester.

          • SCA/SC/ST Communities: – A minimum average of 40% of marks from Ist semester to VI th semester.

M.E. Communication Systems :

A pass in B.E/B.Tech(Electronics and Communication Engineering , Electronics Engineering )

M.E. Engineering Design :

A Pass in B.E. /B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering , Marine Engineering ,Manufacturing Engineering/Technology, Aeronautical Engineering Production Engineering/Technology, Industrial Engineering ).

M.E. Manufacturing Engineering:

A pass in B.E./B.Tech(Production Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering ,Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Rubber and Plastics Technology, Industrial Engineering, Polymer Engineering/Technology, Metallurgy, Mechanical and Automation Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering/Technology).

M.E. Power Electronics and Drives :

A pass in B.E./B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering).

M.E.(VLSI):

A Pass in B.E./B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering,Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
