The third edition of Engenius 2019, an inter-school technical and cultural event, organized by KCG College of Technology, was held on 27th August 2017, drawing nearly two thousand students from 38 schools.  The main objectives of the event were to spark the innovative spirit among students, and help them understand the crucial role played by engineers in the development of the world as we know it today. A blend of  workshops, technical contests and cultural competitions, the emphasis of the mega event was on learning while having fun!

Workshops were held in areas like aeromodellingrobotics, mobile applications, virtual driving, 3D printing, and fashion designing. Competitions ranged from oratory, music, danceand fashion to quizzes, paper presentations, science fair and coding contests.  It was a reflection of the KCG College’s core belief that holistic education holds the key to success.

A drone show and display of more than 40 innovative projects provided further opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge.   “It gave me a chance to interact with staff of various engineering departments and understand the many projects that were displayed.  My visit to the Department of Aeronautical Engineering was very useful and I enjoyed the drone show,” said one enthusiastic participant.“Every year we send our students to participate in KCG Engenius as it motivates them to compete with students of other schools in a healthy environment,” said a teacher accompanying students from her school.
