IETKCTECH ACADEMIC AFFILIATE CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
KCG College of Technology, Chennai, renewed the IET Academic Affiliate Certificate awarded by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), United Kingdom on 21st February, 2017. IET is one of the world’s leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community, and provides a global knowledge network to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote the positive role of science, engineering and technology around the world. This will enable the knowledge transformation and their aim is to support Institutions by providing training in advanced technology areas, and also to support and conduct different events while simultaneously providing access to an international network of like-minded people. This will enable the Institutions to maintain the most up to date knowledge and skills in the dedicated sector. IET offers support to staff and students by providing project internships, funding assistance to attend national and international conferences, and to motivate the students to explore their innovative project ideas.
A meeting was held at KCG College of Technology for signing the Academic Affiliate Certificate Renewal. Mr. S. Raghavan, Regional Head (South & West) from IET India’s Bangalore office, represented IET India and handed over the Academic Affiliate Renewal Certificate to Dr. G. Prabhakaran, the Principal of KCG College of Technology who signed the contract. Dr. Sumathi Poobal (Vice-Principal), Dr. M. Krishnamurthy (HOD/CSE), Dr. J. Frank Vijay (HOD/IT), Mr. S. Cloudin (IETKCTECH Faculty Advisor), Mr. V.P. Sreekantha Kumar, (IETKCTECH Coordinator), Dr. V. Thulasi Bai (HOD/ECE), Dr. P. Deiva Sundari (HOD/EEE), Dr. N. Bharathi (HOD/EIE), Dr. J. Raja Paul Perinbam (Prof/ECE), Dr. Dhanalakshmi R (Prof/CSE), Dr. C. Emilin Shyni (Prof/CSE), Dr. K. Poonkavithai (Prof/CSE), and Mr. Jose Anand (Associate Prof/ECE) were the dignitaries present during the function.
