In keeping with the vision of providing holistic education, fourteen new clubs were launched on 29 July 2016. The clubs such as Aero Modeling Club, Programming club, Mobile Apps Club, Robotics Club, IOT club, Music Club, Dance Club, Photography Club, KCGMUN Club, Quiz Club, Civil Services Aspirants Club, Sports Club, & Fitness Club offer a mixture of technical and nontechnical, indoor and outdoor activities. Later a horse riding club was also inaugurated on 30 September 2016, which saw a thrilling polo match being played on the KCG grounds.

These clubs offer a vibrant space for students to pursue their interests beyond the confines of the classroom. In these clubs the first years are mentored not only by faculty but also by seniors creating healthy interaction between seniors and juniors. It is to be noted that by gaining exposure through these clubs, many students have made the college proud by standing first in intercollegiate curricular and extracurricular competitions.

To name a few prizes- first year students of the IOT club have won multiple awards for coding and mini-project at intercollegiate competitions held in Anna University. The college dance team has struck gold at PSG and SRM as well as winning one lakh at the Radio Mirchi dance finale; the music team too has notched up a number of wins. This year alone the KCG MUN team has won more than 40 prizes including two Best Delegation Awards at the MUNs conducted by ICFAI in Hyderabad and WCC in Chennai.

Further, as an educational outreach initiative, clubs like Robotics club and Mobile App clubs have conducted workshops for students from various government and private schools in the city.
