EWB(Engineers without Borders)-KCG Student chapter was started on 4th February, 2017 to carry out the activities with the mission of EWB –India. EWB –KCG student chapter has done a few social outreach programmes.
J11 Kannagi Nagar Police Boys and Girls Club started in 2011 has been witnessing a flurry of activities.The club, which began as part of outreach effort by the police to check delinquency and ensure that the youth of the city do not veer towards a life of crime, have diversified the gamut of activities and benefits offered.
As an extension of Each-one Teach-one programme, on 26.3.2019, EWB-KCG student chapter inaugurated ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Library’ with 550 Tamil/English story books, comic books, textbooks, weekly/monthly magazines, technical and competitive exam books at J11, Kannagi Nagar Police Boys and Girls Club, Kannagi Nagar, OMR,at 10.00 am.Our sincere thanks to the Management, Faculty Members and Students for the establishment of this library.
