The National Cadet Corps aims to build character, friendship, and leadership skills in Indian youth. Our NCC Company gives students top-notch training and instils the value of serving others.
The KCG NCC Company (Senior Division and Senior Wing) was started in 2011, under the aegis of 1 BATTALION NCC, MADRAS – A GROUP. The first batch og SWs (Girl Cadets) was started in 2017. The enrollment is for a period of 3 years and is open to second year students. We encourage all members to complete their “B” and “C” certificate examinations.
The unit is extremely active and emphasises social service, discipline, and adventure training. We regularly participate in inter-collegiate NCC competitions; and select cadets undergo rigorous military training at Army centres. Many have been part of camp for mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, army attachment and national integration. KCC Tech cadets are alos visible in the prestigious Rebublic Day parade.
The company also spearheads several social initiatives like anti-drug rallies, blood donation camps, orphanage/old age home visits, and awaareness campaigns on issues like consumer awareness, cancer, and AIDS

KCG NCC cadets have won overall runner in Theaga Fest securing first position in Guard of Honour and Contingent drill competition held at Sir Theagaraya college 24th February 2020.
KCG NCC Company has bagged Overall 3rd place in CADOFEST securing 3rd position in Contingent drill held at DG Vaishnav college 25th March 2021.
