Ideathon ’23, an innovation challenge and workshop, was held on July 15, 2023. The jury panel, consisting of Dr. M. Vignesh Kumar, Head of the Project Development Cell and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and KCG Tech alumnus Mr. S. Bala Surya, Founder and CEO of Sandbird R&D Pvt. Ltd., evaluated the students’ innovative ideas and solutions. They provided valuable guidance on improving and optimizing these projects. The participating teams gained significant insights into turning their ideas into viable products.
KCG College of Technology hosted TEDxKCG on March 16, 2024, with the theme “Reimagining the Future: Crafting a Better Tomorrow.” The event aimed to inspire new perspectives across technical, socio-economic, physical, and mental domains. Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman of HGI, and Dr. Annie Jacob, Director of KCG College of Technology, honored the speakers with mementos.
The 26th College Day Celebration, held on April 27, 2024, was a jubilant milestone marked by accolades and applause. Dr. Subramani Ramakrishnan, Vice President of UPS India Technology Center, Chennai, was the Chief Guest. His insightful words deeply resonated with students and faculty, encouraging them to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Dr. Ramakrishnan’s experience and wisdom left a lasting impact, motivating attendees to pursue learning and excellence.
