RESEARCH

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is recognized by Anna University as a research center for Ph.D. and M.S. (By Research) programs. It hosts 3 supervisors and 14 scholars, with 63% of faculty members actively pursuing research.

Our faculty has undertaken research projects worth over ₹2 crores, including those funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) under the FIST scheme, AICTE, and the Newton-Bhabha Scheme (University of Leeds, UK).

We continuously upgrade our infrastructure and lab facilities to provide students and researchers with cutting-edge resources for learning and innovation. The department aims to be a dynamic research hub, fostering a conducive academic environment, facilitating industrial collaborations in emerging areas, and advancing research in wind and solar power projects.
