The department is recognized as a research center for pursuing Ph.D. and M.S. (By Research) programs. Currently, 11 part-time and 3 full-time scholars are conducting research at this nodal center. It has a dedicated lab for research projects.
The department has qualified and accomplished supervisors across various domains of Electronics and Communication, with faculty members possessing extensive academic, industrial, and research experience. We also have specialists in Electronics, Communication Systems, VLSI Design, Wireless and Mobile Communication, Medical Electronics, and other fields.
The ECE department has secured over ₹120 lakhs in funded and consultancy projects from leading organizations, including ICMR, MSME, CVRDE, DST, ISRO, AICTE, and IEEE-WIE USA.
Our faculty and students regularly publish their research findings in Scopus-indexed, SCI, and Web of Science journals, as well as at national and international conferences. Over the past five years, we have published 100 papers and secured 50 patents.
