The Department is engaged in pioneering research on alternative fuels, heat transfer, engine development, and vehicle vibration analysis. The work of our faculty and students has been published in top national and international journals and presented at leading conferences. The department also has an impressive number of patents to its credit.

Equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure and laboratory facilities,we offer students extensive exposure to diverse topics like automobile component design, fuel properties, energy losses, advanced engine technologies, automotive air conditioning, vehicle dynamics, vibration analysis, maintenance, and auto electrical systems. Students also gain practical experience with leading software such as ProE, MATLAB, and ANSYS for vehicle design and development.
