Dr. KCG Verghese was a visionary and philanthropist who saw education as imperative to augmenting India’s growth as a modern nation and founded the Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI). A pioneer in engineering education, the Group was among the first to ensure that our country has the technically skilled professionals it needs. The Group has flourished since it’s early years, successfully running stellar institutions for over 50 years.
