KCG College of Technology is accredited by NAAC with an A+ Grade. We offer a total of 15 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs, blending both conventional and non-conventional engineering disciplines. With permanent affiliation from Anna University for six undergraduate programs and accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for 6 undergraduate programs, the college upholds the highest standards of academic excellence. We foster Innovation and Entrepreneurial skills through our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cells (i-cell and e-cell), which inculcate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. We are the first college under Anna University to launch a government-funded Technology Business Incubator (TBI). The Office of International Affairs and Higher Education guides students in pursuing higher studies in India and abroad. Recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by DSIR and housing 7 Anna University recognized Research Centres for the departments of CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Physics, and Chemistry, the college encourages learners to engage in cutting-edge research and innovative projects. The college has an H-index of 31, 1165 Scopus publications, 76 granted patents, and 15 filed copyrights. Extracurricular activities are crucial for holistic development, fostering social skills, teamwork, and personal growth beyond academics. 11 technical and 11 non-technical KCG Clubs, the Centre for Transformational Leadership (CTL), Toastmasters Club, TEDxKCG, Engineers Without Borders (EWB), and various sports activities on campus serve as platforms to build the skills required of twenty-first-century learners.
The insights and resources for this educational framework are achieved through our MoUs with corporates and foreign universities and Centres of Excellence (COE). We invite experts from industries and institutions, as well as notable alumni from India and abroad, to conduct workshops and give lectures in our seminars, webinars, and conferences.
