Our library powers the intellectual energy at KCG Tech. Spread over 11,000 sq.ft, it houses the central library, the department libraries and the digital library. It has the capacity to seat 170 students at any given time.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Strict silence should be observed inside the library
  2. Library users should sign the gate register before entering
  3. Bags/belongings must be left at the rack outside
  1. Students shall not deface books in any way or misuse the library facilities.
  2. Users are required to keep the library neat and tidy
  3. Mobile phones are to be switched off in the library
  1. Students must wear their ID cards when they are inside the library
  2. Students will be allowed to use reference books in the library only on submission of the identity card

• Users can borrow books as per the following norms:

• Books must be returned on or before the due date. A late fee of ₹1 per day, including holidays, will be charged for any delay.
• The loan period can be renewed for another fortnight if there are no reservations. Books must be physically presented for renewal.
• Books in high demand must be returned immediately.
• Only one copy of a book will be issued to a user.
• Members must replace any lost or damaged library resources (books, CDs, DVDs, etc.). If unable to do so, internal/external members must pay three times the latest price, including processing and overdue charges, if applicable. Any loss of books must be reported immediately.
• Damaged books will not be accepted; they must be replaced by the borrower.
• Reference books, project reports, journals, and magazines are for reference only and may be issued overnight during working days.
• Upon leaving the college, students must return all borrowed library materials and obtain a ‘No Dues’ certificate from the librarian before receiving their official certificate.
• Users should verify the physical condition of books (missing pages, chapters, pictures, etc.) before borrowing them.

• Students must write their names and registration numbers in the library register book, both while entering and leaving the digital library
• They should use the Internet for only education, training, placement and publication purposes
• Students are not allowed to use the digital library during class hours
• The systems and accessories should be handled properly
• Downloading of software, songs, and unauthorized files is strictly not allowed
• Students are not allowed to change the settings of the system
• Unnecessary movement of the monitor or CPU is strictly prohibited
• CD / DVD / PEN DRIVE can only be used with special permission from the librarian
• IEEE Springer and Delnet Journals

The library department also runs the Hindustan Book Bank Scheme for the students. Hindustan Book Bank Scheme allows students to borrow books which they can keep for the entire semester. When the next semester begins, the books borrowed must be returned and the next set of books can be borrowed.
