KCG-ian for Life!

The KCG Connect Alumni Association (KCGCAA) was founded in 2016 as a registered Society under the Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975. Our mission is simple but meaningful – to strengthen the bond between alumni and our beloved Alma Mater, while building lasting connections within our alumni community. The office bearers work together to create engaging and impactful activities. Over the past six years, in collaboration with the KCG College Alumni Relations Office, we’ve facilitated over 100 initiatives, including internships, seminars, mock interviews, and social outreach programs. We’ve also had the joy of hosting five alumni reunions, bringing us all together and continuing to nurture our community.

To strengthen connections between alumni and their Alma Mater and its community. To provide a forum for KCG College of Technology alumni to meet and discuss matters of common interest. To establish awards recognizing eminent individuals and those who have contributed locally, nationally, or internationally. To maintain an up-to-date alumni database containing contact details, employment information, and qualifications.
To foster ongoing interaction between current and future alumni on a shared platform. To maintain an up-to-date alumni database containing contact details, employment information, and qualifications. To promote the establishment of alumni chapters in areas with a significant alumni presence. To document and report on events held by alumni chapters worldwide.
To liaise with the University and members to update the alumni database annually after convocation. To publish the KCGC Annual Newsletter, highlighting the year’s activities of the association. To pursue all activities deemed necessary to achieve the above objectives. To support the College during inspections by regulatory bodies such as MHRD, UGC, AICTE, NBA, ABET, and others, ensuring attendance from at least one-third of KCGC alumni during such visits.
To contribute to the promotion and recognition of the College’s achievements and those of its alumni. To raise funds for the College’s development and other activities led by KCGC. To ensure the availability of funds for conducting and promoting the association’s objectives. To elevate the image and status of KCG College of Technology both nationally and internationally.
To highlight the University’s contributions to various fields of education on a global scale. To promote the interests of the College, its alumni, and current students. To foster goodwill and mutual support among KCGC members. To serve as the voice of alumni in matters related to the betterment of KCG College of Technology.
To support the College’s professional and academic development by seeking support from alumni achievers in their respective fields. To maintain camaraderie among former students by encouraging social and cultural connections. To build a supportive relationship with alumni that encourages lifelong learning and growth while providing opportunities for alumni to contribute to their Alma Mater by:
1. Delivering guest lectures, seminars, and workshops.
2. Suggesting upgrades for laboratories and software across courses.
3. Facilitating industrial visits, training, placements, internships, and projects for current students.
