Infrastructure and Facilities

The department offers resources for integrating mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines, crucial for developing advanced automation and robotics systems. Students work on equipment such as a Collaborative Welding Robot, Dobot Magician Robots, PLCs, microprocessors, microcontrollers, IoT devices, Delta and FABX PRO 3D printers, and hydraulic and pneumatic circuit models. The labs are also equipped with leading software tools, including Robot Operating System

GEORGE CHARLES DEVOL- ROBOTICS AND CONTROL LABORATORY

In the Robotics and Control Lab, students gain hands-on experience in designing, programming, and controlling robotic systems, which enhances their understanding of automation and control principles.

ROBERT E. NEWMAN -SENSORS AND INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY

The Sensors and Instrumentation Laboratory equips students with the skills to design, calibrate, and analyze various sensors and measurement systems.It improves their proficiency in data interpretation and system optimization.

THOMAS ALVA EDISON - INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION LABORATORY

The Industrial Automation Laboratory allows students to explore and implement automation technologies, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems, to optimize industrial processes.

BLAISE PASCAL - FLUID POWER LABORATORY

This lab is essential for understanding fluid dynamics and the practical applications of fluid power in various engineering and industrial settings.
