The Department has state-of-the-art facilities enabling in-depth exploration of electronic circuit design, signal processing, and communications systems. By providing access to the latest technologies and simulation software, our labs foster hands-on experience and innovation in critical areas like VLSI design, wireless communications, and real-time systems.

01 Electronics Lab

Dr.Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar Electronics Laboratory

This lab is well-equipped with instruments like Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes (up to 30 MHz), Function Generators (up to 20 MHz), and Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (up to 50 MHz), power supplies, Voltmeters, Ammeters, Multimeters, Decade Resistance Boxes, Decade Inductance Boxes and Decade Capacitance Boxes which is essential for conducting all Electronics Related Lab Experiments.

Sir.C.V.Raman Microwave and Optical Laboratory

This Laboratory is equipped with the equipment’s such as RF Communication Kits, Microwave Communication Components and Testing Benches , Measuring Instruments and Microwave Power Meters. This lab is also equipped with MM/SM Fiber Optic trainer kits, Optical Fibers , Dual Trace Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Microwave test benches of Klystron and Gunn Source, Optical Power meters and Laser Trainer Kit.

Communication Lab

Dr.Jagdish chandra Bose-Communication Systems Lab

The Laboratory is equipped with computer systems with i3 configuration installed with the MATLAB R2020a Campus License version. In addition this lab is equipped with Digital Storage Oscilloscope, DC power supplies, Function Generators and various equipment for performing experiments related to communication like Modulation, Multiplexing, Shift Keying etc.

Gordon Earle Moore-VLSI Laboratory

The Laboratory is equipped with Computer systems with i3 configuration installed with the Cadance Software. The lab is also equipped with equipment’s like Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Function Generator and Cathode Ray Oscilloscope.

Microwave Lab

Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan-Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab

The Lab is well equipped with 8085,8086, 8031/8051, PIC microprocessor & microcontroller kits. Interfacing circuits with real world applications are also available. Development tools like circuit Emulator, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and controlling devices such as DC motor, Temperature Controller and Traffic Light Controller are also available.

Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam -DSP and Computer Networks Lab

The Laboratory is equipped with Computer systems with i3 configuration installed with the MATLAB R2020a Campus License version. The lab is also equipped with TMS320C50 Processor and ADSP Processors. Equipment’s like Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Cathode Ray Oscilloscope are also available in the Laboratory.

AICTE ModroB Sponsored :Advanced Microcontrollers and IoT Lab

This lab is sponsored by AICTE ModroB.The lab is equipped with Intellisense Mems Suite, ZYBO Kit ,Zynq SoC Evaluation Kit and various type of sensors.The Laboratory is also equipped with Computer systems with i3 configuration.
