IMPORTANT STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY GRADUANDS

(Read these instruction carefully and kindly adhere the same)

  • Graduands and guests will be directed to the Auditorium once they complete the registration process.
  • Graduands and guests are advised to report to the respective registration desk at 8.30 AM and proceed further to complete the process.

STEP 1 – CONFIRM THE REPORTING (Opens at 8:30 AM and Closes at 10:00 AM)

  • Mark your attendance in the list of graduands who have already registered through online. (Spot registration is not allowed)
  • Wrist Bands for lunch (Veg./Non.Veg.). (Maximum 1 + 2 = 3 will be issued), “Stole”(UG-Red; PG-Dark Blue; D-Green) will also be given. Stoles shall be retained by the graduands.
  • Graduands who have already registered in alumni portal (https://alumni.kcgcollege.ac.in/) can collect their “Gown” Coupon and ‘Graduation Day Memento’ from the registration counter. Else they need to get sign from Amrutha (9962224184) in 4001, FT Block after completing the registration in alumni portal.

STEP 2 – COLLECTION OF GOWN, ROBE AND CAP (Opens at 8:30 AM and Closes at 10:00 AM)
(SPOC: Mr. Vijayaraghavan N 97105 18089)

  • Handover the “Gown” Coupon in Gown Counter and collect Gown, Robe and Cap. (UG – Black; PG-Yellow; Ph.D-White).
  • Graduands have to pay 600/- (Rs.500/- as deposit charge and Rs.100/- as rental charge; Rs.500/- will be refunded while returning back the Gown, Robe and Cap in good condition)
  • Only Cash Transaction is permitted in Gown Counter. E Payment in any form (Card,UPIetc) is not available with the Gown supplier. Please come prepared to pay in Cash.

STEP 3 – AUDITORIUM ENTRY (Opens at 9:00 AM and Closes at 10:00 AM)

  • Graduands must occupy their seats before 10:00 AM for rehearsal.
  • Graduands who come after 10:00 AM will be guided quietly to the seats that will be allocated for them.
  • Entry to the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium for the guests will be made as FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis, subject to the seating capacity of the auditorium.
  • Maximum of TWO guests per graduand will be permitted inside the auditorium only if they come along with graduands.
  • Graduands with Gowns, Robe and Cap only will be permitted inside the auditorium.
  • Graduands are instructed not to change your seating position.
  • Kids will not be permitted inside APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed inside the auditorium.
  • Graduands who have collected the degree certificates earlier, handover the same to the Degree Certificate Committee (Ms. Thyla 9884089707)
  • Graduands are instructed to follow formal Dress code.
  • Graduands are informed to maintain the decorum of the ceremony by observing strict silence during the proceedings of the function.
  • Usage of Mobile phone / Camera are strictly not permitted inside the auditorium. Advised to keep the mobile phones in switched off condition.
  • Graduands / Parents are not allowed to take photographs. Arrangements are made for photographs. Link to download photos will be shared later.
  • Graduands are informed to follow the directions given by the respective faculty members while going to the stage and returning back to your seats.
  • Graduands will remain standing when the academic procession enters and when the procession leaves the auditorium.

 

Note:

  • Photo Booths are arranged.
  • Packed Lunch of your food choice (Veg./Non.Veg.) will be provided after the ceremony at the entrance of the Canteen. (Max 1 Graduand + 2 Guests).
  • All your cooperation in all aspects is solicited for the smooth execution of the ceremony.
