On 30th April 2022, Eye Checkup Camp was conducted by Dr. V. Gopal, NSS Programme Officer at KCG College of Technology. The program was inaugurated with the Eye Checkup camp by our Principal Dr.P Deiva Sundari, and, Professors KCG College of Technology along with the Mugavari Eye Hospital Chennai and it went on well with the enthusiastic participants of KCG College of Technology, Staffs and Students.

KCG College of Technology signed an MOU with Aspire For Her and Ms Vidya Shiva Kumar – Lead Business Operations & Technology at Aspire For Herreceived the same. The program was conducted in hybrid mode between 2.00 – 4.00 pm on 30th April, 2022.
Ms Madhura Das Gupta Sinha – Founder & CEO Aspire For Her addressed our students and spoke about all the initiatives and programs that they run for the benefit of the students. The students were found to be more enthusiastic and their queries were answered by Ms Madhura. This collaboration will empower our young male and female engineers to enter and stay in work place with all the necessary skills required to be more inspiring and aspiring.
Seminar on “Suicide Prevention Campus Crisis Intervention Protocols” was held on 12th May 2022, 10am – 11:45am at F14 Seminar Hall for KCG faculties.
Dr. Rani George, Professor of Criminal Justice Statistics at Albany State University (ASU) in Albany, Georgia, USA was the resource person. Dr.DeivaSundari P, Principal, KCG College of Technology presided over the seminar and greeted the Guest of Honour and the faculty members who attended the seminar. Ms. Tephilla Joice P, welcomed and introduced Speaker to the gathering.
Dr. Rani George enlightened our faculty members about the lifesaving skills to decrease the rate of suicidal behavior among the students. She explained about the various activities and projects they do in Albany State University to prevent suicide among the students. She patiently cleared all the queries raised by the faculty members. Ms.Priya Bijesh offered vote of thanks.

As a part of MOU with Aspire For Her (AFH), KCG College of Technology in collaboration with AFH, conducted a session on creating a strong LinkedIn profile, for KCG students. The resource person Mr Ramdas Kannan – Manager, APAC Growth Partnerships LinkedIn, briefed our students as how to create a strong profile on LinkedIn to attract the recruiters. He spoke on building a profile and a brand to get noticed, how to apply for jobs, skills required to get a job. He spoke as how to close their network gap by connecting to alumni, telling their story on profile as their interests / hobbies, following companies, adding competencies and certifications.
More than 2000 KCG students attended the session and created their LinkedIn profile through the live practical demo given by Mr Ramdas Kannan. A free subscription for 6 months, worth Rs 9000 given by LinkedIn to all our students, was activated on the same day.
Our students were equipped with a lifelong needed skill – effective job search and being noticed by all recruiters at all times. Students attended the session with interest and enthusiasm and their queries were answered by Mr Ramdas.
