DESCRIPTION:The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of KCG College of Technology organized a MIC-driven activity titled “AI for All: Skill Development & Ethical Tech for the Next Generation” on 27 January 2026 at the John McCarthy Intelligence Lab. The event was conducted as part of the pre-summit engagements leading to the India AI Impact Summit 2026\, supporting national initiatives aligned with Ministry of Education\, Government of India and AICTE to promote AI awareness\, skill development\, and ethical technology adoption among students. \nThe session was delivered by Benny Joseph\, AI Engineer at HTC Global Services. The session focused on the importance of AI literacy\, industry-relevant skill development\, and ethical AI practices required for building a technologically empowered and self-reliant nation. \nEvent Description\nThe programme emphasized the role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping future careers\, industry transformation\, and national development. The resource person shared insights on real-world AI applications\, emerging career opportunities\, and responsible AI usage. The session also highlighted the importance of ethical considerations\, data responsibility\, and inclusive technology development aligned with sustainable development goals. \nObjectives\n\nTo create awareness about AI technologies and their societal impact.\nTo promote skill development in emerging AI domains.\nTo encourage ethical and responsible AI usage among students.\nTo prepare students for industry-driven AI career opportunities.\n\nOutcome\n\nImproved understanding of AI applications in real-world industries.\nEnhanced awareness of ethical AI practices and responsible technology usage.\nIncreased motivation among students to pursue AI skill development.\nStrengthened industry-academia knowledge sharing and collaboration.
