The Department of Automobile Engineering has well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff members of proven ability and administrative skills. It has been well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories that cater to the needs of the industry.
The department further encourages professional activity of the staff and students through the SAE INDIA. The college owns a Inferno racing teams which is being governed by expert staff members and industrial people throughout the globe. These forums provide the platform for the students for enriching their knowledge in the automotive field and also to have an exposure to the recent trends in automobiles industry.
Apart from the academics we also give value added trainings, workshop seminars to all the students based on their interest to gain a practical exposure to survive as the fittest in the modern world. We would be ensuring each of our student goes for a in plant training during their summer and winter vacations.
We continuously encourage our students from the beginning to do their individual projects which give them a keen interest and ideas how to surf and explore new things. We would enable them to enrich their technical skills and knowledge empowerment.
The department also owns off road bikes and cars which will provide a keen interest for students in learning the designing technologies used.
We also have a bonded relationship with major OEM’s (BMW, Ford and Hyundai). They have also sponsored fully loaded vehicles and engines for the students study purpose.
