Programming Club

Want to advance your coding skills and fix problems?

Here you are, The programming club seeks to inspire young programmers. Its primary goal is to motivate students to develop their programming abilities. The fundamental prerequisite for improving one’s technical skill set is programming. Coding is a crucial component of any IT business, and this programming club builds each student’s coding abilities from scratch. Every student is given a solid foundation in fundamental programming as well as strategic thinking, planning, problem solving, and time management.

As a member of the club, the student can start their adventure from a simple program to creating a game, designing with turtles, triumphing in hackathons, creating websites, and more. Overall, this group gives the students the skills they need to succeed in a variety of programming languages and critical thinking.

Programming can be Fun – Ms. S. U. Shiny, Engineering Lead, Exeter Premedia Services, on 17.12.22

No Code with Scratch-Ms. K. Malathi, Assistant, KCG on 6.1.23

Gaming With python – Ms. Swethasree Sribabu, IV year Student, Dept. of CSE, KCG

Mobile Application Development Club

Various mobile applications that facilitate convenient one- and two-way contact between clients and customers by managing information instantaneously and in real-time are more popular among people in the modern era. The goal of Mobile Application Development Club is to create awareness of and interest in the development of hybrid applications. Through tools like the drag and drop tool, react native, and flutter, the students will gain insight into the creation of mobile apps. As a member of the Mobile App Development club, they can start from scratch and explore the entire stack. One can be sure of a reliable future if they learn how to create mobile applications because they are incredibly dependable for any type of organisation. The student can personalize their own application through this club with whatever feature they want, such high security, better productivity, user-friendliness, and more. Apps are a fantastic method to interact and communicate with users. Therefore, with this club, every idea you have as an imagination can become a reality.

INNOCOM Club

Each individual is born with his own skill set, and over time he acquires skills that make him stand out of the crowd. The CSE Department has launched a club called INNOCOM, a way to incubate and express talent. INNOCOM is a club to encourage every student of the department towards the path of entrepreneurship, to become a breadwinner, and help them create a stand-alone future. The club increases the standard of CSEians and builds more achievers and trendsetters. For further growth of knowledge, INNOCOM provides various events and workshops on topics like design thinking, technical thinking, cloud computing, block chain and so on. It also conducts INNOTHON, a prototype programming competition, for the student members, ensuring it will be an add-on to their knowledge. Thus the students will be industry ready by knowing how to solve a problem strategically and would have gained huge knowledge during their college time itself.

I am a CSE undergraduate student from Kashmir . The department of CSE and its faculty members are what makes a student’s college life worth it . The department is well equipped with the facilities of current need as well as the teaching being well tailored. There is never a dull day in the department as there is one or the other student activity happening , which indeed boosts a student’s confidence. My college journey at KCG might have ended but the push it gave me in my life to thrive for a better being is what I belief is the most important aspect.
Abbeer Wani,
2019-2023 CSE
Finding one’s innate talent and nurturing it is helpful in building a solid future. The department does it right by supporting students in their co-curricular, extra-curricular as well as academic pursuits. But for the support of the HOD and faculty, I would not have been able to launch INNOCOM- an innovative club or stage a number of events. Being a student at KCG has been a wonderful experience, and I am rest assured that ‘KCG has built roads towards success, and I just had to take a few steps and walk through it’.
Prithiyanga,
2021-2024 batch, Co President, INNOCOM
The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at my college is known for its excellence in education and research in the field of computer science. The faculty members and the HOD in the department are very approachable, helpful, highly qualified, and experienced. They provide a supportive environment for students to learn and grow. I have had several positive interactions with them. They are also involved in research collaborations with other academic institutions and industries, providing students with valuable exposure to real-world applications of computer science.
The department undertakes both individual and group projects, ranging from research-based projects to application-based projects. The faculty members here provide excellent mentorship and guidance to students during the project activities. They are readily available to answer questions and provide feedback to help students improve their projects. They also encourage students to take ownership of their projects and think creatively to find solutions to problems. Collaboration and teamwork are highly encouraged during the project’s activities. Students are encouraged to work together and share ideas and resources. There are also opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration with other departments or institutions, which provides students with a broader perspective on problem-solving.
The CSE department has dedicated labs and workspaces for students to work on their projects. The labs are well equipped with the latest software and hardware, providing students with the necessary tools to develop their projects. The college has a dedicated placement cell that provides job placement assistance to students. There are also opportunities for internships and networking events that help students connect with potential employers. The campus life at KCG College of Technology is vibrant and exciting. There are a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural events, and clubs. Overall, my experience with the CSE department at KCG College of Technology has been excellent.
